Salman Khan clocks 500 crores in a single year

With Prem Ratan Dhan Payo striking gold at the box office and Bajrangi Bhaijaan shattering records all over, Salman Khan has now become the first and the only Bollywood actor to have clocked Rs. 500 crores in a single year at the India box office. But with PRDP still holding strong at the box office, despite newer releases, the film holds enough steam to continue its solo run this week enabling Salman to come within striking distance of the Rs. 550 crores target at the India box office.

However, it isn't just this year that Salman has been topping the box office charts, in fact in 2012, Salman Khan's two releases (Ek Tha Tiger and Dabangg 2) had grossed approximately Rs. 353 crores at the India Box office whereas in 2014, his film Jai Ho and Kick combined collected approximately Rs. 346 crores. However with this year's collections, Salman Khan has broken his own record. 

However with Aamir Khan, working on a solo release every year, chances are that Salman's record might go uncontested. But, all said and done, with Shah Rukh Khan gearing up with two releases next year, he is well in contention to challenge Salman's supremacy. Now the big question is 'Will Shah Rukh Khan top Salman's yearly box office collections or won't he?', only 2016 will tell.

Salman Khan wished Shahrukh Khan in person on his 50th Birthday

Salman Khan visited Shahrukh Khan’s residence on his 50th birthday and wished him in person
The Two Big Khan's of Bollywood are back together after a long time.After making peace at ‘their’ sister Arpita’s wedding, Salman Khan visited Shah Rukh Khan’s residence on his 50th birthday (2 November,15) and wished him in person.

SRK took to Twitter to share two pictures when Salman paid a late night visit to his friend’s residence.

The first picture that he posted, he captioned it as, “Bhai teaching me the moves for Sultan on my birthday,” and the moves did seem perfect for two wrestlers indulged in a friendly fight.

'Aaj Unse Milna Hai' from Prem Ratan Dhan Payo VIDEO Song Download


The new song 'Aaj unse milna hai hume...' from Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was released in Delhi by Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor with a bang. 
With typical Sooraj Barjatya music, the song is a light number featuring Sonam Kapoor as a princess in her royal best and Salman Khan as a common man.

Salman Khan is seen searching an apt gift for the princess in the song but is worried about his budget.The Song is Sung by Shaan and written by Irshad Kamil.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is set to release on November 12, 2015.
